This lot comprises an extensive collection of artist journals, sketchbooks, prints, and ephemera by Kenneth Jameson Parker, signed throughout as JAMESON or JZM. Included are hand-painted hardcover journals, a repurposed architectural binder, and various loose works on paper. One green cloth-bound journal is titled STRANDED IN KNOXVILLE — THE ILLUSION OF PERMANENCE THE 51ST SKETCHBOOK JOURNAL OF THE ARTIST and features a yellow and blue handprint motif on the cover, while a second smaller journal in red and orange displays a similar handprint design. Also included is a large red binder with a debossed architectural motif and the signature of Frank Lloyd Wright, repurposed as a sketchbook containing blue ink skyline drawings and mirror-script text. The collection includes woodcuts, china ink drawings, personal correspondence, and handwritten notes. Loose works include a linocut portrait titled GRINNING SKATER STUDIO — Josh B. Miller, signed by Kenneth Jameson Parker and dated 12/11/12, an abstract blue print dated 12/11/12, and a printed portrait titled PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST AS A FAILED GENIUS STRANDED IN KNOXVILLE.
