Collection of personal and professional letters and telegrams acquired by actor Chester Morris from fellow members of Hollywood over two decades of his career, including a collection of ephemera and unsigned correspondence surrounding Morris’s role in the 1958 Broadway production of Blue Denim, with telegrams from Milton “Mr. Television” Berle, interviewer Ralph Collier, and agents Martin Baum and Abe Newborn. Signed letters include: Douglas Fairbanks (1883 – 1939) Howard Lindsay (1889 – 1968) Laurence Olivier (1907 – 1989) Fredric March (1897 – 1975) Lawrence Bachmann (1911 – 2004) Herbert Marshall (1890 -1966) Jane Wyatt (1910 – 2006) E.G.
