Attributed to George Platt Lynes (American, 1907-1955) Group of Thirty-one Photographs of Men (Both Nude and Clothed), 1930s-50s. Without artist stamps. Gelatin silver prints, image/sheet sizes to 10 x 8 in. (25.5 x 20.4 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Minor wear at corners and edges, two prints mounted to board. Provenance: A Connecticut estate. Estimate $3,000-5,000 Most sheets are curled. Several have minor handling crimps. Many have a rubber stamp of a pointing hand plus an 2-digit ink number of the versos; some annotated “BR” in pencil on versos.
